Light Up The Season is our family-friendly fundraising event co-hosted by the Four Seasons Washington, DC. Special patient artists partner with the area’s most notable designers to create holiday trees, menorahs and mantel decorations. This year, the décor will be displayed at the Four Seasons in Georgetown from Nov. 30 through Jan. 2.
As part of the holiday festivities, the Four Seasons will host a variety of events and promotions to benefit Children’s National. These include:
- A Teddy Bear Tea on Saturday, Dec. 11 from noon – 4pm. Join us for a magical holiday tea featuring tea sandwiches, scones, delicate pastries and choice of tea, hot chocolate, or sparkling wine. Dancers from the Metropolitan School of the Arts in their holiday costumes will enchant the youngest guests and each child will be gifted with a Children’s National Hospital Teddy Bear. One hundred percent of proceeds go to Children’s National Hospital.
- An outdoor Holiday Market every Friday (3pm – 7 pm), Saturday (12pm – 7pm) and Sunday (12pm – 7pm), December 3 – December 19.
Shop the Holiday Market on the front courtyard of Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC. With market stalls that feature unique gifts and culinary offerings created by our Hotel’s craftspeople and local artisans, now is the time to indulge. A percentage of each purchase is donated directly to Children’s National Hospital. - Dr. Bear “teddy bears” will be sold at the hotel throughout the month, with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to Children’s National Hospital.
- Enjoy other Four Season’s offerings with portions of the proceeds supporting Children’s National: Light up the Season spa treatment; and a Light up the Season Mocktail at Bourbon Steak

Light Up The Season is such a festive and creative collaboration. The sparkle, merriment and joy of the events have my family coming back each year. Giving to those in need is important to us, particularly during the holidays. Children’s National Hospital performs near miracles every day. I can’t think of a more deserving cause. Light Up The Season makes philanthropic giving fun and memorable.
