Submit a Letter of Interest

The Founders Auxiliary Board invites Children’s National staff to submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) for grants to help improve a child’s hospital experience, develop research initiatives, purchase critical medical equipment, sustain and develop innovative treatments.

Professional development, promoting community engagement, event expenses, printing of publications, and the like, will be considered if it is connected to a broader grant that improves the hospital and patient experience, supports research, develops and sustains innovative treatments, and supports medical equipment.

Community health initiatives should align with the hospital’s Community Health Improvement Plan and focus on (but not limited to) these strategic priorities: Early Childhood Education, Healthy Food, Health Insurance Coverage, and Employment.

Grants will be considered for a minimum amount of $2,500 and up to a maximum amount of $35,000.
