The Founders Auxiliary allocates funds to Children’s National through its Annual Grants and Major Gifts Programs. Through fundraising efforts, the Annual Grants Program has supported initiatives to develop and sustain cutting-edge research and innovative treatments, purchase critical medical equipment, improve patient hospital experience and support the professional development of doctors, nurses and hospital staff as well as numerous health initiatives through the pediatric community clinics of Children’s National serving those most in need.
We are making changes to our annual application process for our annual grant program to ensure the maximum impact of distributed grants for Children’s National patients, families and staff. If you have any questions, please contact grants@foundersauxiliaryboard.com.

Grants awarded by the Founders Auxiliary Board have inspired change and transformative advances in diverse areas of service throughout the hospital. Past awards have supported research, child wellness initiatives such as concussion prevention, immunizations, cutting-edge equipment and technology, pediatric surgical robots, professional development, and educational support.
