Founders Auxiliary Board supports Children’s National through fundraising events. The Board hosts A Vintage Affair and Light Up The Season and participates in the hospital’s annual Race for Every Child.

5K Race for Every Child

It’s time to join your “FAB for KIDS” race team in running for their lives!

Gather with hundreds of grateful, joyful and big-hearted supporters as we all race to make children’s lives the best they can be! 

Participate your way. In person on the Plaza or virtually at a location of your choosing! Donate. Run. Walk. Stroll your little one. Carry your dog. Go the extra donation mile by inviting your network and creating a team.

Kick off your heroic efforts by registering for the “FAB for KIDS” race team below. Our new goal is $30,000. So let’s get ready to give children’s health our very best run.

Light Up the Season

Join us each holiday season as we partner with the Four Seasons Hotel, Washington, D.C. to host Light Up the Season. This event celebrates the season of giving by incorporating magical moments and events to celebrate and support the inspiring patients, families and staff of Children’s National Hospital. Light Up the Season is hosted by Four Seasons Hotel which transforms into a festive, multi-dimensional holiday dreamscape. Join us every Saturday in December for a Teddy Bear Tea – proceeds directly benefit Children’s National.

A Vintage Affair

Proceeds from A Vintage Affair fund the Founders Auxiliary Board’s Annual Grants and Major Gift Programs. These programs provide critical funding directly to Children’s National’s experts which enables them to expand the horizons of pediatric care.
